• Winter Leaderland Luncheon orders will close on Tuesday, November 26th.
• ACS will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday- November 27th-29th.
• PTO Restaurant Night at Chick-fil-a will be December 3rd.
• We will have our Winter Leaderland Luncheon on Thursday, December 5th.

It's our FINAL 2 EVENINGS to raise funds for our school's Rock-a-thon! Our annual fundraiser supports so many wonderful opportunities for learning and growing at PES! Our total today is $10,654.00, and we hope to meet our school wide goal of $20,000 by this Friday! Let's finish strong! Please see the flyer below to scan the QR code or click the link to register. Students receive a prize just for registering! We encourage students to ask family members and friends to sponsor them as a participant in the PES Decades Rock-a-thon! Every $ donated earns students one Habit Team Point and supports our school! Final prizes will be revealed next week including the Habit Team VIP party at the dance, a top class pajama party, lunch with Coach Cooper and Mr. Doster, and more!

Also, if you own a business and you are interested in a business donation, please see the information provided below. Business donations will also be counted towards Habit Team points for your child.

In response to several parent requests, PTO has opened another Spirit Wear store for additional purchases. They have included several cold weather options in this store as well! Please click on the link below to shop. The online spirit wear store is open until November 22nd.

At PES, instruction and implementation of the 7 Habits supports fostering leadership and excellence as students are encouraged to be leaders of their own leaning. All PES 3rd graders spend time in August reading and discussing each story of The 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey to better understand application of these habits at school, at home, and within the community. As a part of counseling classes, Mrs. Brown implements a habit of the month that is focused on. All students learn about each of the habits in support of excellence and success throughout the school year. They are a common language throughout our building. While students are assigned to one team for school-wide community and spirit activities, students strive to exhibit each of them. If you would like to check out a copy of The 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey to read and discuss at home from our Title 1 Family Resources, you or your child may request this from Mrs. Hiller (tkhiller@auburnschools.org). We encourage you to make connections to these habits at home, and we continue to thank you for your involvement and support!
