Message from the Principal's Desk
Greetings Titan Families,
We’ve had another busy week here at THS! We conducted 9 safety drills in an effort to be prepared for anything that comes our way, as exhibited yesterday afternoon with the drastic storms.
You may or may not be aware, but Crestwood Middle School is currently having an addition constructed. This addition will accommodate an additional 300 students and as a result of the need to shift at the middle school, FCPS has proposed a few options for redistricting students which impacts students at the elementary, middle and high schools, including Tuscarora High School. I would like to draw your attention to this message from FCPS which provides information regarding the recommendation as well as three alternatives for redistricting. In addition, community input is requested via the survey or the email address linked in the message.
As the school year is well underway, I encourage parents to check Schoology with their students in order to stay on top of grades before they dip. In addition, please remember that TutorMe is free and available 24/7 to help students with their homework or papers.
Wishing you a lovely weekend! (Hopefully it cools off!)
Sincerely,
Lisa Smith
Principal
