The R-HHS floral design class invites you to sign up for the floral arrangement of the month program for the fall semester. Each month (for the fall semester) you will receive a specially designed arrangement from one of our student designers. You can choose to participate every month for a one-time fee of $125/semester or you can pick which months you would like to participate for $30/month. We will deliver to RHHS and CMS only. All other school locations must arrange pick up of their items before or after school. If you are interested in participating please fill out the google form. If you have any questions please contact Calli Claybrook.
SOL Testing and Exams
As a reminder, students must attempt and pass a certain number of SOL assessments in order to graduate with a diploma. SOL tests are monitored by the State of Virginia and must be administered at Randolph-Henry High School in accordance with our testing security agreement. SOL study materials will be provided for students prior to testing. Elective and other non-SOL courses will administer an exam and/or a certification test, or a project to take the place of an exam. Teachers will communicate this information to all students. Virtual Virginia students will be contacted to come in and take SOL assessments if they are enrolled in a SOL course. Yearlong classes will not take SOL tests until the Spring semester. On the day of the SOL test, students should arrive to school around 8:16. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook with them for testing. When finished, students will be allowed to return to class. A free breakfast and/or lunch will be offered to all students at school each day. Students who are testing will be given a break to stop and eat lunch even if their test is not complete. If you have any questions about this information, please reach out to us during regular office hours. 434-542-4111
Important Notes:
- SOL Tests will take place at 8:30 AM on designated days.
- Students who attend morning programs will need to plan to be here for their SOL tests and communicate that with their DE instructors.
- Elective exams will take place on a non-SOL test day as determined by the teacher during the regular class meeting time. In an effort to more evenly distribute testing, some elective exams may be scheduled for the first week of December. Your teacher will provide an exam date.
- Core content exams will take place on the SOL test days but during the normal class time.
- WE WILL OPERATE ON A NORMAL BELL SCHEDULE DURING ALL TESTING DAYS!

In an intentional effort to keep everyone safe at our home events this year, we ask that you review our spectator code of conduct. Students who are currently serving a suspension are not permitted at school athletic events. Students who violate these rules at a school event are subject to school discipline. Both students and guests who behave in a manner that is inappropriate or disruptive may be removed and restricted from future athletic events. For the safety of all guests, metal detectors may be used at the gate and spectators who exit will not be allowed reentry.
Seating:

Volleyball/Basketball/Wrestling: All fans must be seated in the stands unless you are going to the restroom or the concessions stand. The area behind the players benches will be labeled as "event personnel only". Fans must be seated on the opposite side of the gym. There will be no congregating or horse playing in the lobby. Be expected to be redirected if you are not in these authorized areas.
Baseball/Softball/Soccer/Tennis: Fans may be seated in the bleachers or their own personal chairs & blankets. Fans may stand along the fencing/spectator areas. Children/fans should not congregate in unsupervised areas, toss balls that could strike other guests, enter wooded areas, climb trees, or utilize the batting cages.

Drop Off and Pick Up Information
Morning Drop Off:
Please drop your student off in the guidance parking lot loop. If they arrive prior to 8AM, they will report to the café until the bell rings. No students may be dropped of on the auditorium side of the building due to student drivers and foot traffic on that side of campus.
Afternoon Pick Up:
Please enter the Death Valley Parking Lot and park to wait for your child. Students will be released at 3:15 to proceed to that area for pick up. Students may not enter vehicles that are stopped in the road or in any other area deemed unsafe. School staff and a deputy will be present to assist you with any questions you have.
After School Pick Up:
If you are picking your student up from an after-school activity, please ensure you park in one of the parking spaces in a designated parking lot to wait for your child. We must keep our bus loop clear in the evenings so that our remediation buses may pass through safely.
Statesmen Care Program
Randolph-Henry High School will continue the Statesmen Care program thanks to the donations of our generous community. Our main hall restrooms feature a donation shelf for personal care products to be used by our young men and women. By placing these items in the restrooms, students can discreetly obtain what is needed without the embarrassment of having to ask. We hope that with the continuation of this program all of our Statesmen will feel fresh and ready to learn each day! Being clean and healthy builds confidence, promotes good attendance, and can help prevent bullying. Students will be allowed to take what they need free of charge and with no questions asked. Donations can be dropped off at the school between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday-Friday. For more information, you may contact Mrs. Davis, Principal of Randolph-Henry High School, at 434-542-4111.
Suggested items: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, brushes/combs, lip balm, menstruation items, and cleansing wipes. *Please no razors or wax.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We also offer a Statesmen Supply Cart for students who may run out of a needed item during the school day. Basic supplies such as paper, pens, notecards, and pencils are free of charge for all students. School supply donations are accepted throughout the year.
A Dress for Success Closet!
Students who need to prepare for an interview, dress up for a school competition/event, or those who simply need an emergency change of clothes will have some options available to them at RHHS. Due to limited storage we are not able to accept bags of clothing at this time. Suggested items: A gift card or monetary donation so that we may purchase what students need in the appropriate size.
