Drop off and Pick up in the Parking Lot
Dear Sagebrush Elementary Families,
In order to keep our parking lot safe for all walkers and moving efficiently, please do the following:
Drive slowly, 5 miles per hour through the parking lot, and 20 mph or less on the street.
Follow directions from our staff and crossing guards.
Stay out of the bus lane until buses have cleared.
Stay in your car. If you need to get out of your car, please park on the street or in a parking spot.
Drop off and pick up students in the right lane of the parking lot or near the sidewalk. The left lanes are for passing.
Pull forward when dropping off and picking up. When you stop at the corner, it backs up traffic.
The best time for arrival is between 7:40 and 7:55.

Donation Drive
Sagebrush Elementary and feeder schools in the Smoky and Overland areas will be collecting individually-packaged snacks in support of Cherry Creek Schools students and families.

At Sagebrush, teachers have talked to their classes about "filling others' buckets" with drops of kindness. Some actions empty buckets while others fill it up.
At home, you can use these questions:
● What words or ways people act fill your bucket?
● What words or ways people act empty your bucket?
● When you fill people’s buckets, how do you think they feel about you?
● What can you do if your disrespectful words or actions empty someone else’s buckets?
The people in your home need encouragement and kind words just as much as you. If you are ready to go the extra mile, try this:
● Offer 3 genuine compliments to others in your home this week!
● How did they react? How did you feel giving the compliments?
● Kindness is contagious! Pass it on.
