Welcome to VPHS, Mr. Jauregui!
Mr. Jauregui brings a wealth of experience to Villa Park High School. As a 21-year educator in LAUSD and former 12-year administrator in Anaheim USD, Mr. Jauregui will be able to jump right in and help manage our school. In his semi-retirement, Mr. Jauregui has been a substitute administrator in Irvine USD, Anaheim USD, and most recently at El Modena High School with OUSD.
Student Services Update
- Bathroom Passes (via 5-Star) will now last 6 (SIX) minutes - the same time as the standard passing period between classes. Bathroom passes should only be used to go to the restroom and return to class. Students frequently found out of class without a pass or on an expired hall pass will be assigned school consequences.
- 5-Star Digital Student ID can be used as an alternate Student ID Card - students can exit campus for short day/athletics using the 5-Star app. This Digital ID card will be used for checking in to school events such as dances, lunch detention, and Saturday Schools.
Digital Student ID Cards via 5-Star
Students:
You can now us the 5-Star App as your School ID Card! VPHS will continue accepting the physical Student ID card for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This Digital Student ID provides the following information:
- Student Photo
- Grade Level
- Student ID Number
- Short Day Stickers for Early Release (If applicable)
The Digital Student ID Card on 5-Star will be the default ID Card starting next school year, 2025-2026.
New 500 Building Opens
Students and teachers have completed their first week in the 500 M.E.C. Building! The new 500 building primarily houses English and Math classes and is a wonderful, modern addition to our campus.
E-Bike Safety Training Jan. 23 @ Lunch in Library
Did you get a new E-Bike for the holidays and are planning to use it to get to school? VPHS requires all E-Bike riders to attend a Safety Training in order to receive a Parking Permit. This training will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 at lunch in the Library. Our School Resource Office, Deputy McDermott of OC Sherrif's, will host the training and answer questions from students.
Questions? Visit Mrs. Zlaket in the Counseling Office.
OUSD OPEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS JAN. 13

Short Day / Athletic Periods - Must Have Student ID

For increased safety of our students on campus, VPHS Admin and Security Team are beginning to scan student ID cards as they leave campus on a "short day" or "athletic" period. Student ID numbers are scanned and our 5-star system keeps a log of exit times each day.
Students found without their ID will be subject to the following consequences for multiple ID violations.
