The school year is flying by, and it is hard to believe that next week is already April! Please review the information in this smore to learn more about what is planned over the coming weeks as we head into the final months of the school year!

Join us in the Oak Ridge Library at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 2 for the next Home & School meeting. Or, if you need to join us virtually, here is the link. Please note that nominations for the 2024-2025 Home & School board will take place at this meeting!

Oak Ridge Home and School Association will be running a flower sale at the Spring Concert on May 8th. We are selling bouquets of flowers that you can purchase for your singer/musician.

All bouquets need to be pre-ordered and paid for in advance. They will be available for pick up prior to the start of the concert.

Two different options are available: a small or large bouquet. Both bouquets will include baby’s breath, greens, cello wrap and a bow. The small bouquet will include a minimum of 4 stems of flowers, while the large will include a minimum of 8 stems. The cost for the small bouquet is $8 and the large is $15. Please use the QR code to pay via Venmo and make sure to note your child's name when paying for the bouquet.

All orders are due by Friday, May 3rd.

We will also be offering wooden roses for sale that evening for $2 each. Start a new tradition or add to a bouquet you've already started!

Thank you for your recent spiritwear purchase! Our spring sale raised over $100 for Home & School, soaring past the fall sale! Items will be distributed to your student in the next few weeks.

• Friday, April 19, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

• Earl Bowl, 390 Morwood Rd, Telford, PA 18918.

• Cost is $12 per bowler and includes shoe rental.

• Earl Bowl's concession stand will be open for the event.

• All children must be accompanied by an adult (this is NOT a drop-off event).

• Please register early at this link (by April 12, 2024 at the latest!).

In April and May, we will host events for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Permission slips will be sent home with students in mid-April, but you don't have to wait. Reserve your child's spot today. Just click the link below and mark your calendar!

Now seeking participants for our Spring Flea Market fundraiser on 5/18/24!

Sell your old, gently used household items, toys, clothes, etc. at this community yard sale event right on the Oak Ridge playground blacktop. Participants will need to register in advance* by emailing oakridgefleamarket@gmail.com with their name, contact info, and general description of what they'd sell by 5/4/24. $20 registration fee** per registered 15ft x 15ft space will be due at check-in on market day! Market will run from 8am to 11am.

*Please provide your own setup: think table, chairs, tent - no requirement here, just bring what you need to be comfortable.

**You'll also keep your profits! Registration fee directly benefits Oak Ridge Home and School.

Have nothing to sell? We hope you'll join us on Saturday, May 18th 8am-11am to shop and support our amazing community.

There will be a rain date of 6/1/24.

Over the last month, we raised $296 for The Bean Bag Project with concession stand and donations during the lip sync event. We also raised $220 with flower sales for lip sync. The pizza kit fundraiser also helped Home & School raise $502.

Additionally, the Home & School contributed $1,500 towards this year's amazing lip sync event and $590 for Reading Olympics.

Oak Ridge Home and School Association is tax exempt under IRS Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501(c)3.

Donors can deduct contributions as provided in IRC. We also accept company matches for donations!
