Royals Charities is hosting a local MLB Pitch Hit & Run competition on Thursday, July 14th at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy. If you could pass this along to any resources that you have, that’d be greatly appreciated! Flyer is also attached.

Join the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy for the local Pitch Hit & Run competition sponsored by Major League Baseball. This FREE program gives athletes the opportunity to compete their way to Kauffman Stadium for the regional competition, and the MLB World Series for the finals!

Baseball and Softball offer a variety of player development programs year-round, as well as the Royals RBI Baseball and Softball League. The Academy also offers several clinics, camps and games of baseball and softball that help develop and introduce athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Each program is based on seven, 6-week sessions that follow the calendar school year including summer. A variety of mini-courses are also offered during this 6-week period.

This is a recreational flag football league. All players not a part of partner teams will be assigned to a BGCGKC team that will practice at a BGCGKC location. Boys & Girls Clubs teams will begin practicing August 1 or whenever enough players are assigned to a team. Games will be played at Cleveland Park on Saturdays. Partner teams can bring a full team in, but all players MUST register on LeagueApps. All players will receive a pair of football gloves.
