CELEBRATIONS!
MJUSD believes that outstanding achievements should never go unnoticed, especially when students and staff go above and beyond expectations. As a way to celebrate exceptional contributions, we are proud to announce the launch of our Employee and Student of the Month recognition program, starting this September. COACHES CORNER
If you are interested in teaching Computer Science (CS) but need help figuring out where to start, MJUSD has a grant that is a perfect opportunity for you. The grant will pay for both coursework and credential fees for a supplementary authorization in Computer Science. The coursework is through UC Davis and UC Riverside and was created for educators with little experience. Course enrollment includes exceptional professional support, full access to the C-Stem curriculum, and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues.
You can learn more about the program here: Link to UC Davis Program Flyer or check out the attached flyer.
If you would like to participate in this opportunity, join your fellow MJUSD educators in completing the courses, and become an integral part of the MJUSD educators in completing courses, please complete the SURVEY. The survey link can also be found in the flyer.
Registration closes on September 20th, and the first class is scheduled to begin on October 19th. We need to fill our seats for this cohort to begin.
