Student Voice at Bransford
At Bransford, we are committed to gathering and using student voice to influence the campus. Staff members gather student voice through surveys, asking questions in class, and individual conversations with students. Ms. Boyd will be gathering student voice in the library through Library Liaisons (be looking for more details soon). Mrs. King uses student voice with the KC Club as they decide together how they want to serve our community.
Students in all grades also have an opportunity to provide voice on the principal panel. The principal panel meets once a month during lunch and is comprised of two to three students per class. This group of students shares their thoughts on the great things happening at Bransford, ideas they have for making it better, and provides Mrs. Halliburton with insight into their classrooms. If your student is interested in joining the principal panel, they can complete the online application here. Pre-k and kinder students will be receiving an application from their teachers.
When we ask for and listen to our students' voices, we continue to build an excellent school together!

Yearly Volunteer Requirements
In order to volunteer at BES this year in classrooms, during school-wide event, or as a field trip chaperone, please review the new volunteer handbook and complete the required background check. Thank you for understanding that this process must be repeated each school year. Now is a good time to complete this process and encourage all family members who might want to volunteer to complete it, too. For the protection of students and staff, all volunteer applicants must read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the online form authorizing the district to obtain a criminal history background check.
