The Odyssey
May 31, 2024
From the Principal
Hello MQSCA Families-
Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi, which the Catholic Church will celebrate this weekend. This feast honors the true and substantial presence of Jesus Christ under the appearance of bread and wine, known to us Catholics as transubstantiation. This happens during the Consecration when the priest pronounces the words of Christ: "This is My Body, this is the chalice of My blood...do this in remembrance of Me." It's a special gift for us Catholics each time we participate in the Eucharist at mass!
As the weather gets warmer, let's revisit our dress code. With the summer weather approaching, we have guidelines for appropriate summer wear that we need to follow. Please review our guidelines here.
Lastly, as we approach the end of the school year, it's important to remind your child(ren) that our behavior expectations remain the same until the last day of school, which is June 11th at 10:30 am. Let's continue to uphold all school expectations until then.
In Christ-
Mr. Lee
