Shout out to the Class of 2025
The Junior Class has been leading the school with strong attendance and participation all year. While there is a lot of research out there showing that this cohort has been greatly impacted by the COVID lockdown, this class is showing its resilience by taking the lead at LHS. We want to recognize the Class of 2025 and their families for their efforts to be outliers. While this does not mean you don’t have hard days, it does indicate that you have some grit. We know all the LHS community can build that same grit and determination to move forward a bit every day. Way to go and keep rolling Raiders!
LHS Tutoring Program
Free Tutoring is available to LHS students from LHS teachers in the areas of MATH, ELA, SCIENCE, and SPANISH. There is tutoring available on site before school, during lunch, and after school. Literacy Corner
Having strong vocabulary skills makes students better readers and writers. Help your student increase their vocabulary through your conversations. Try making a conscious effort to use more complex language when talking with your student. Students learn new words through these verbal interactions.

Due to safety concerns and the demands on the main office, we do not accept food deliveries of any kind. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Reminder for Parents/Guardians - Student Drop Off
Parents who are dropping students off at school in the morning should use the parking lot lane closest to the building. Please do not park in in a space and wait to drop your student off. Unfortunately, parking is very limited for both students and staff. Utilizing extra parking spaces for this purpose can create an issue where there is nowhere for staff or student drivers to park. Additionally, please do not drive down the middle parking lot lane in order to drop a student at school. We appreciate your help!
Reminder: Students, make sure your laptop is charged each day!
