Our Lady of Mercy

Dear OLOM Families,

We have had a fantastic week at OLOM!

Our students loved the Gymnastics incursion that Mr. King organised, and they have been busy getting their classrooms ready for the teacher Meet and Greet this afternoon.

A reminder: Classrooms will be open from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This is a great time to meet your child’s teacher and see some of the amazing work they have already done this year.

After the Meet and Greet, the P&F "SUNDOWNER" event will run on the bottom oval from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be:
🎉 The famous foam cannons (a huge hit last year!)
🍦 An ice-cream van (available to buy)
☕ A coffee van (available to buy)
🌭 A sausage sizzle and cold drinks (available to buy)
🎶 Live music to create a great atmosphere

On Monday, 24th at 9:30 am, we invite all parents and guardians to join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a friendly chat with the Principal.

This is a great chance to:
☕ Talk about the school and our plans for 2025
❓ Ask any questions you may have
👋 Meet me and Mr. Muto and Mrs. Clark, our Assistant Principals

If you don’t drink tea or coffee, don’t worry! Please come along anyway—we would love to see you. There may even be a sweet treat as a thank you for coming.

When you arrive, please come through the front office, and we will show you where to go.

As we move into Week 4, I want to thank all our students and families for showing our school values every day. Our values – Justice, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence – guide everything we do at Our Lady of Mercy.

We have students from 3 years old to 12 years old, and each one is unique. Every child learns in their own way, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us to support them.

I hope to see many of you tonight! I will be at the main gate for most of the evening, so please come and say hello.

We are enrolling for Kindy 2026. If you have family or friends with children entering Kindy next year, invite them to book a visit - Mr Sirolli would love to show them around the school. Children very welcome too! Just speak with Mrs Caruso in the office.

Kids Academy runs before and after school care here at OLOM. Pop into see them if you are interested in using this service to help look after your child before or after school.

Kids Academy have a new online Enrolment form.
