As the weather changes and we start to see more rain and cold weather, please be sure to send your student to school with weather appropriate clothing. A rain jacket or other coat with a hood is recommended. We want students to be able to have an outdoor break and be able to return to the classroom warm and dry and ready to learn.

Kindergarten and Preschool registration for the 2024-25 school year will open on Wednesday, January 31, 2023. Families may register online by following this link or request paper registration through the school office after January 31st. If you have any difficulty registering, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Incoming kindergarten parents, please save the date of May 23rd from 3:00-3:45 for Boeckman's 2024-25 Kindergarten Parent Information Afternoon and the date of May 31st for Kindergarten Visitation Day. More information to follow.

We are needing volunteers to assist our Vision Screeners on February 27th from 7:45 - 10:00. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Delea Horch in the school office at (503)673-7750.

With winter weather right around the corner, we want to remind families what to expect in the event of school delays or closures. Remember, we will only provide communication if there is a change in school operation status. If you do not receive an alert or update the morning of school, you can assume that school is operating normally. Parent-guardians and staff will receive alerts through ParentSquare in the event that there is a 2-Hour Delay or Closure of school due to inclement weather. Parent-guardians can also visit the district or school website for the latest information regarding operation status.

• Parent-guardians will receive an email and text message alert through ParentSquare if there is a change to the school day. We encourage parent-guardians to double-check that their correct contact information is up-to-date in ParentVUE.
• Decisions are made based on road conditions, ability for staff and students to safely get to school, and weather forecasts.
• It's possible that Snow Routes may be implemented depending on road conditions.
• 2-Hour Delay and School Closure Decisions will also be announced via FlashAlert for community members who choose to sign up.
