Principal's Corner
Hello Village Families,
I hope that summer break is going well and all families are finding time to relax and make summer memories. Campus has been full all summer hosting camp for 21st Century and Achievement Centers for both Village Academy and Pine Grove. Today we are hosting the annual Spirit of Giving Back to Event (see flyer below). All Village Academy students will be able to receive supplies.
It is always exciting to embark upon a new school. This is the year of the Tiger Experience: Excellence, High Expectations and Positive Energy . The first day of school is Thursday, August 10. As summer sessions begin to come to a close, I would like to share a few reminders that will be helpful as you prepare your child for the start of a new school year. As you begin to prepare, review the newsletter for additional updates for the following :
- school supplies
- uniforms
- immunizations /physicals
- registration
Enjoy the rest of the summer and if you have any questions or concerns , please feel free to call or email. Campus is open Monday - Thursday from 8am-5:30pm .

Reminder: Back to School PBC 2023
Village Academy 2023 Dress Code
- All students attending Village Academy are expected to wear uniforms every school day starting with the first day of school. Parents and guardians, I appreciate your assistance in explaining and reinforcing the school uniform policy to your child .
- Dress Code will be enforced.
- If you need assistance , please let us know. Our school social service facilitator will provide guidance and assistance.

Meet the Teacher and Secondary Schedule Pick Up Day will be held on Wednesday, August 9 from 1pm-3pm
The 1st Day of School is Thursday , August 10, 2023
- Campus will open at 7:15am
- Breakfast available for all students
- Instruction starts at 7:35am for Grades 6th -12th
- Instruction starts at 8am from Elementary and Head Start Students
The first day of school is always very busy day. We are asking that students bring in school supplies on meet the teacher day. This will make the morning rush go a little smoother. I appreciate your assistance and cooperation in advance . The first day is usually pretty heavy with traffic. Safety is our priority!
