A Message From Mrs. Pender...
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to our Bobcat Families for their unwavering support throughout the years. Since 1999, I have been a part of this school community in various roles, including teaching different grade levels, serving as assistant principal, and now as principal. Throughout this time, I have witnessed our students grow in confidence, develop meaningful peer relationships, and excel academically. Many have become successful citizens both within our community and beyond. Together, we have established a school with a strong reputation, consistently striving for excellence. As we approach the end of this school year, please know that your support, along with that of our dedicated teachers, staff, and community, has made this role truly impactful. I am looking forward to continuing to support schools in our community as a Director of Beaufort County Schools.

Helicopter Visit to Coosa
A big thank you to Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (and Pilot Neil Baxley) for visiting our school yesterday to educate our students about the Sheriff’s Office helicopter! Our students loved learning, and especially loved seeing the helicopter fly over, land on our kickball field, and take off! What a fun Coosa moment!!
BCSD's Seed Library
Thank you to all the families, students, and teachers who signed up to to be part of Beaufort County School District’s Seed Library for the Summer of 2025! We distributed okra seeds to several teachers and students, and we can’t wait to see the okra grow in the gardens of our families. We treasure watching your children grow, and now we can’t wait to see the okra grow too! If you would like to share photos of your children tending to the okra seeds, please email Ms. Kabel at Ashley.Kabel@beauofrt.k12.sc.us.

Habits for a Happy Home
Sharpen the Saw - Year-End Reflection
This final week focuses on Sharpen the Saw through year-end reflection. Encourage your child to reflect on their personal growth over the year. Discuss the habits they’ve practiced and how these habits have impacted their life. Celebrate the successes they’ve achieved and set new intentions for the future. Reinforce the idea that self-care and reflection are key components of leadership. Celebrate their journey of growth throughout the year and help them see how far they’ve come!
