PTO Penguin Patch starts Tomorrow!!!🎄
Signing students out during the timeframe of 3:40-4:15
Bell to Bell instruction takes place at LOES and we need your help to make sure your child does not miss out on valuable learning time. We have implemented a campus wide read aloud time the last 10-15 minutes of the day! Teachers are reading to their students and working on reading strategies that will have many positive effects on student achievement. We do not want your student to miss out!
We have also moved our bus dismissal to the front of the building this year. For safety and adequate space for bus dismissal, we ask that you do not sign your students out during the timeframe of 3:40-4:15 unless it is an emergency. This will help with the flow of our dismissal procedures and keep us on schedule. We are also trying to minimize the time students are on the bus. Your support with this matter is very much appreciated.
Every 9 weeks our campus will celebrate students who do not have an absence, tardy, or early check out for that 9 weeks!
Cafeteria Snacks
The Elementary cafeteria has started selling a la carte items. All items are "smart snack" compliant and the prices range from $0.50 to $2.00. Your student must have money on their account to get an a la carte item. If you would like to add money to their account you can go online to www.schoolcafe.com and add it to their account or you may send money in an envelope with their name on it. A la carte items are sold Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Alvis at 903-634-5255 or email her at kalvis@loisd.net. Thank you!
