Exciting News!!
Thanks to great teamwork and effort on behalf of all the staff and students at ESS, we were recognized as a school of distinction for our performance on the state assessments taken in the spring called SBAC.
It is a great reflection of all the handwork and dedication that happens each day at ESS!

How Important is Attendance?
Updated Information
Current News-
We are excited to honor our Veterans today. Thank you to those who have signed up for the parade and classroom visit.
I know the weather has been warm but the playground is quite windy. Please be sure your child is dressed for outdoor recess every day unless it is raining.
Students in grades K, 1, 3 and 4 had their vision tested. Nurse Nichole will reach out to you if there are any concerns with your child's results.
Have a great weekend--Mrs Weber
Old News-
Please remember if you are picking your child up early to let us know ahead of time so that the teacher knows and the students are prepared. If not, it may take some time to locate your child during lunch/recess and they may not be as quick as you need them to be.
if you have a change of custodial arrangements, no changes to IC or dismissal plans may be made without a copy of court documentation.
Please remind your student that if they have a cell phone they should NOT be using it during the school day and if you get a text from them, please call school instead of responding.
The school playground is closed to the public from 8:45-4:00. If you bring younger siblings, they cannot go on until after dismissal. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Please make sure all water bottles, lunchboxes and clothing items are labeled with your child's name. We have a large collection already
Dismissal changes MUST be communicated to the front office even if you send your child's teacher a Dojo message-you must email Mrs Roberto and Mrs Quinlan with the changes-thank you!
Please only send water or juice boxes in with your child-Starbucks, Dunkin, Prime and Monster energy drinks as well as sodas or seltzers should remain at home .
Important reminder that we are nut and peanut free school. We have students with severe allergies. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe!
Have a great weekend--Mrs Weber
