For the portrait pages of the yearbook, our staff uses names provided by the school, which are pulled from Infinite Campus. If you use a different name than currently appears in IC that you want to appear in the yearbook, please complete THIS FORM. This form should NOT be filled out by people who go by a nickname (“Tommy” instead of Thomas) or by people who go by a shorter version of their legal name (“Ben” instead of Benjamin). Because of printing deadlines, name change requests cannot be accommodated if you do not complete this form by Nov. 1.

SENIORS! Are you thinking about paying for college?

We know many of you are applying to college, and part of that process is figuring out how to pay for it! The first step is filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA has undergone some big changes in the last couple years causing some confusion.

It is tradition for seniors to submit a portrait of themselves for the yearbook. Click here to read all the official guidelines for senior photos and view our recommended list of photographers. SENIOR BABY ADS:
Many families purchase a senior tribute ad (known as "baby ads") to recognize the achievements of their seniors in the yearbook. Purchase your baby ad at theyearbookcompany.com. Baby ads must be purchased by Nov. 1.

• Seating is open, no tickets are needed for entry.
• There will be a live stream of the graduation ceremony.
• Seniors are allowed to decorate their cap for graduation.
• GradImages will be on site during our graduation ceremony to take photos of the students receiving their diplomas on stage. They will email proofs for purchase to families.

Attention current 10th and 11th graders: Are you eager to enhance your leadership skills and get a jumpstart on your career? Apply to the BVSD Summer Leadership Academy for Summer 2025!

The program features work-based readiness workshops from June 2nd to June 6th, followed by an internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience, working 20 hours per week from June 9th to July 3rd. Plus, you’ll receive a $500 stipend upon completing the program. Spots are limited for this amazing opportunity, so don’t miss out on the chance to grow and prepare for your future!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Monarch High School's softball program will be recognizing individuals who are battling this deadly disease by wearing pink, raising funds, and collecting supplies.

On Thursday September 26 at 4pm, please attend the softball team's game versus Skyline High School and support this cause! The team will be wearing pink uniforms and supporting JWILL Pink Village, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that brings comfort to breast cancer patients by creating and donating special, patented pillows that help ease pain after surgery.

You can show your support by:

• Wearing Pink
• Donating - the following are needed by this nonprofit and can be donated at the game:
• Materials: PolyFiber Stuffing, 100% Cotton or Flannel Fabric, 3/4” strips of sew-on Velcro in white or black, all-purpose thread, fabric scissors.
• Gift Cards: to Amazon, Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, and Wal-Mart.
• Monetary Donations: Cash, PayPal, and Venmo.

All spectators are also encouraged to join our athletes in wearing pink, to both encourage survivors to keep fighting, and also honor loved ones who have lost their battle with breast cancer.
