This Sunday it will officially be FALL y'all!!! And our Top Tigers have just about half of a 9 weeks under their belt. We have enjoyed getting back into the swing of things and look forward to all the growth they will make this school year!!

With that half way mark approaching, Interim Reports will be sent home FRIDAY to share the progress your child is making!! Be sure to check those backpacks 🐯 and reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.

As much as we love our fur babies, they are not allowed on campus while school is in session. That includes arrival and dismissal times. We have many allergies and we want everyone safe. Thank you for helping us with this matter.

Our NUMBER ONE priority is STUDENT SAFETY. And we need YOUR HELP!!

🐯 Arrival time is 7:15am. Please do not release your child on campus any sooner as staff are not in place to supervise. Reminder, we do have breakfast in the cafeteria for all students if they so choose.

🐯 We have over 450 students traveling around the building in the afternoon to get to their dismissal location. PLEASE...DO NOT take your child from a line without talking to the teacher. This creates confusion for everyone involved.

🐯 Our K-2 playground is a very popular spot during and after dismissal. We ask that you wait to utilize the playground AFTER 2:40pm. That corner gets pretty congested and we want to make sure students are getting to their parents safely.

🐯 If you are an afternoon car rider...we are movin and a groovin now!! We ask that parents/families remain in the car as they wait for their student(s). Buckling is a BIG DEAL and we want all our Top Tigers to ride safely. If your child needs assistance with buckling, we ask that you pull up just passed our cafeteria to further assist your child. This will help with the flow of dismissal. We also encourage to practice this safety step at home so your child can buckle independently in the future.

Each year we host virtual curriculum nights for our parents. This allows you the opportunity to see & hear what your child will be learning in each grade level. This also allows you time to ask any questions you might have. Below you will find the dates and times for each grade level. We will send Google Meet links next week.

Our PTA will be kicking off our ONLY BIG fundraiser this week on Friday September 20th, Produce with a Purpose. The kids will get a kick off pep rally on Friday. Make sure to check those folders and backpacks for information! This fundraiser will run for 4 weeks 9/20-10/18 and we are asking families to pre-sell boxes of produce for $35 that will be donated to Nourish NC. A NEW feature was added to donate any amount you are able to. Please feel free to contact the PTA for more information.

• Sept. 27 - Interim Reports go home
• Sept. 30 - Morning Milers begin (3-5 M/W, K-2 T/TH)
• Oct. 10 - Fall Picture Day
• Oct. 11 - Teacher Workday - no school for students
