From School Administration
Last week, we shared ways to reflect upon the first half of the school year, so you can help your child set goals for the second half of the school year. We, as a school, do the same thing! We look at a wide range of data and information to help drive our instruction. We revisit and adjust our school improvement goals to prepare for the remainder of the school year.
Please find our quarterly report, Measures That Matter, below. You will find important academic and attendance data and information in the report. This information is a snapshot of information we use to continually improve our school and best reach our students.
Mr. Cosentino, Principal

New Information
This week was National Crossing Guard Appreciation Day. Did you know Ms. Neat, our crossing guard, has been at her post for 40 years? Please thank her for always helping to keep our students safe when they cross High Tor Hill.
National School Counselors Week 2024
We celebrated our two amazing school counselors with week during National School Counselors Week. Please thank Mrs. Stremmel and Mrs. Salapata for always being there for our students.
Did Someone Call?
If you receive a phone call from the school, please listen to the message before calling back. Most times the front office staff are unaware of who has made the call. This assists us with helping you in the quickest way possible.
Did you move? Are you moving?
According to HCPSS Policy 9000 - Student Residency, Eligibility, Enrollment, and Assignment, "A student attending a public school in Howard County will attend the designated school serving the school attendance area in which the parents have bona fide residence."
If you have moved or are moving soon, please notify us immediately. Whether it be another HCPSS school, a private school, or a school out of the HCPSS district, we are here to help. If you are transferring to another HCPSS school, our registrars will partner to make the transition as smooth as possible.
If you have an address change, please fill out the attached fillable Address Change Form below and email it back to us with your new deed or lease. This way, we can electronically verify your school district and update your new address on file. If you have any questions, contact our registrar, Ms. Ellynn Self at ellynn_self@hcpss.org.
It is very important for us to have the most accurate information about your residency
