News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
Tiger Families,
What a beautiful day Tuesday was for the students of St. Teresa as they celebrated the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. The sun shone brightly, reflecting the joy in the hearts of everyone gathered. Students participated in various activities honoring St. Thérèse, including sharing her inspirational quote and engaging in acts of kindness, embodying her spirit of love and simplicity.
Many shared their favorite memories of how St. Thérèse’s teachings, particularly her "Little Way," have impacted their lives. This approach encourages finding holiness in the ordinary and loving others through small, simple acts.
The day concluded with a joyful gathering, filled with laughter and camaraderie, reminding everyone of the beauty in everyday moments, just as St. Thérèse exemplified in her own life. It was a day of inspiration and unity, truly reflecting the heart of St. Teresa's community.
Starting Monday, October 7th students may begin wearing their Adam Pit crew shirts every Monday for the entire school year in support of Adam, who is currently facing health challenges.
Let’s come together as a school community to show our love and support!
Just a reminder, that if you have applied to volunteer at St. Teresa School please be on the look out for two emails. Individuals who are in need of a CANTS background check will receive an email from Dcfs.CFS689BackgroundCheck@illinois.gov. While individuals in need of a criminal background check will receive an email from S2Verify Belleville109.
Instructions will be included in the email to verify individual information and authorize the request.
As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!
TIGERS TOGETHER FOR ADAM!
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal
