Werner Dines Out, Dec. 16- December's Werner Dines Out will be at the Penrose Taphouse from 5-8 pm. 10% of proceeds will come back to Werner PTA!
Werner Jazz Cat Choir Concert, Dec. 17- Come see our 4th/5th grade choir sing some holiday songs at 5:30 in the Werner Gym!
Werner Spirit Day, Dec. 19- This month's spirit day is Summer in December for Thursday, Dec. 19.
Holiday Parties- Classroom Holiday Parties will be on Dec. 20. More communication will from your classroom teacher.

Throughout the year, we ask our community for photos that could be used for our yearbook and/or social media. This relates to school events only (e.g. classroom parties, field trips, school events, spirit days and enrichment opportunities). You can upload pictures to our 2024-2025 Werner Photo Album throughout the year. Please be mindful to not include photos of students that may not have permission.

- If you like to eat out, the PTA hosts Werner Dines Out once a month and the restaurants we partner with will donate back to the school anywhere from 10-15%!

2025-26 PSD calendar adopted

Dear Poudre School District community:

The PSD Board of Education voted Tuesday to approve the district calendar for next school year. The 2025-26 calendar is modeled after the current school year calendar, with:

Transition Days for grades 6 and 9 on Aug. 13

The First Day of School on Aug. 14

Fall Break Nov. 24-28

Winter Break Dec. 22-Jan. 5

Spring Break March 16-20

The Last Day of School on May 27

The staff calendar will be finalized and shared as soon as possible.

A Calendar Committee composed of district staff and parents/guardians must follow state laws regarding finances and instructional time and weigh many competing interests when developing calendar options to present to the Board of Education. Factors that must be considered include schools being in session a minimum number of days per year, competition schedules, graduation dates, alignment with other Colorado school districts and institutions of higher education in our region, potential weather/temperature impacts, employee agreements, and more.
