Some thoughts for the starting school year
MHT Summer Crusader’s Prayer
Lord God, we adore you and praise your most holy and glorious name. You have called each and every one of us for this particular time and place; you could have placed us anywhere in time, but You chose for us to be united, here, at the best school in El Paso for this very special day. Help us always remember that, as Crusaders, and warriors of Your kingdom, we must first ENTRUST ourselves to You and You alone. EMPOWER us Lord to reach and ENGAGE those who need you. We offer you our hearts to love, our hands to embrace and our minds to learn. Help us to model and live by Your Word. Mother Mary, we ask that you continue to intercede for us and to protect us with your most beautiful mantle; keep us close to your sacred and loving heart. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
The Sacred Heart of Jesus
June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A symbol of His love for humanity. The image focuses on his love and mercy and of the importance of sacrifice.
Tie it to Jesus's Love Story:
- Jesus's Love for Us: Explain that Jesus loved us so much that he was willing to die for us.
- Jesus's Mercy: Highlight that Jesus is merciful and compassionate, always ready to forgive us.
- Jesus's Passion: Talk about Jesus's suffering and death on the cross, and how this was an act of love for us.
Explain the Symbolism:
- The Heart: Jesus's heart represents his love, compassion, and humanity.
- Flames: The flames show that Jesus's love is burning with intense passion and love for all of us.
- Crown of Thorns: The crown of thorns reminds kids that Jesus suffered for our sins and loved us even when we didn't deserve it.
- Cross: The cross symbolizes Jesus's sacrifice for our salvation.
- Lance Wound: The wound in Jesus's side is a reminder of his suffering on the cross.

We are officially on SUMMER MODE at MHT! 🏄🏻♀️
As we welcome the warmth of summer, I'm excited to also begin my journey as your new principal. I am so honored and humbled to be the person who was granted with this great opportunity to learn from and follow in Mr. Horan's steps. I thank God everyday for entrusting this most beautiful MHT school family to me. I call you my family because without the love, support and assistance that you have given me, I would be that one very lost sheep, in this case, Crusader. I make a commitment and promise to God and to you, that I will do all things in God's love (1 Corinthians 16: 14). Always remember that I am here to serve you and walk, side by side, under our Most Blessed Trinity's guidance, light, and love. Please continue to pray for this, your servant and our Crusader family.

Meet our Team
We are pleased to welcome our newest Crusader, Ms. Catie Confer, our new Financial Specialist, who will be assisting the school with financial analysis, collections and payment options. She brings valuable experience and will be a key resource for any questions regarding your school accounts. We are excited to have her on board and confident she will be a great support to our school community.
