Lunch Deliveries
All parent lunch drop-offs by parents should be delivered prior to the start of your student's scheduled lunch time. When students receive lunch late, it may cause them to miss important instructional class time.
Scheduled lunch times are as follows:
- Kindergarten - 2nd grade- 11:00 AM
- 3rd - 5th grade- 11:30 AM
- High School- 11:30 AM
- Middle School- 12:00 PM
Additionally, student-initiated lunch deliveries via UberEats, DoorDash, etc. are not permitted. If a student orders lunch to be delivered, it will be kept in the front office until the end of the school day. In cases where a student forgets to bring lunch and a parent is not available to bring lunch to the school, parents may schedule to have lunch delivered for their scholar(s) only; however, the front office must be notified in advance.
Office Offers
- Office hours are 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM.
- Arrival begins at 7:45 AM. Students should be in class by 8:15 AM.
- The car rider line begins at 3:10 PM and ends at 3:45 PM. After 3:45, students should be picked up from the front office no later than 4:00 PM.
Any student who is not staying after school for a supervised practice, meeting, or rehearsal will need to be picked up no later than 4:00 PM each day or enroll in the after-school. Students can no longer linger and wait in the building to be picked up beyond 4:00 PM. Attendance & Absences
In accordance with NC Attendance Regulations, parents, guardians, or custodians of students are responsible for students attending school daily. State regulations assert, "No person shall encourage, entice, or counsel any child of compulsory age to be unlawfully absent from school. The parent, guardian, or custodian of a child shall notify the school of the reason for each known absence of the child..."
Here at CIS every day counts and attendance matters. Our Attendance Team will be closely monitoring and tracking attendance daily.
This year, all excused absence documentation must be submitted through our online form. No physical notes (from doctors, dentists, parents, etc.) will be accepted. For the attendance team to accurately track and update attendance records, parents must upload any necessary documents directly to the form.

Thank you!

Transportation Changes
At Carolina International, the safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. We need your cooperation to ensure a smooth and secure dismissal process for all students.
Important Notice Regarding Transportation Changes:
If there are any changes to your child's transportation plans, such as switching from bus to car rider, from car rider to bus, or if someone different is picking them up, it is crucial that you inform the school no later than 11 AM on the day of the change. This allows us to notify the student in a timely manner and ensure that your child is in the correct location for dismissal.
Please send an email to both Mrs. Corey at AmyCorey@ciscomets.com and your student's teacher, or call the school directly to report any changes.
By adhering to these procedures, you contribute to maintaining a safe environment for all students. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
