A Note from the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well and that you had a wonderful and rejuvenating spring break with your family.
I appreciate your support in achieving our fundraising goal of $30,000! These funds directly benefit our teachers and students. A huge shout out to our PTA for organizing the fundraiser and glow party!
As we return to school, I wanted to take a moment to welcome everyone back and express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in your child's education journey. We have an exciting and busy time ahead of us as we dive into the final stretch of the school year.
Here are a few important updates and reminders for the upcoming weeks:
Independent Learner Day: Monday, April 8th, will be an Independent Learner Day, with students returning to school on Tuesday, April 9th, at their regular report times.
Academic Focus: This month, we will be focusing on final skills to prepare students for the spring MAP assessment. Additionally, students in grades 3-5 will be taking the GA Milestones assessment, marking an important milestone in their academic progress.
End of Year Activities: We have several end of year activities planned such as spring drama production, field day, class parties, awards days, etc. Continue to read the parent newsletters for upcoming dates.
PTA Board positions: We are looking for four PTA Board Positions for the 2024-2026 term are coming available this Summer. It is extremely important that we work together to fill these positions.
A full and active PTA Board is the only way we can continue to serve our school through short and long term initiatives.
