September 28th: “Enchanted Garden” Homecoming Dance (7:00 pm-10:00 pm)

The decision has been made to move the Homecoming Dance inside Little Miami High School tomorrow evening! The dance will still begin at 7 pm and doors will close at 7:30 pm.

There will be concessions sponsored by the Athletic Boosters and Sweet Joy will still be on site! We'll have our inflatables...Toxic Drop, Insane Run, Hamster Balls, and Wipeout, plus our DJ and dancing!

Kindergarten enjoyed celebrating Spirit Week all week. We had fun wearing crazy socks, crazy hair, and enjoyed being comfy in our pajamas. We are continuing to practice learning our letters and numbers in all sorts of ways. We have learned how to use sand trays to write letters, practiced with mirrors to help make correct letter sounds, and played fun math games with friends! Kindergarten is the best!

Little Miami AFJROTC is kicking off its annual fundraising campaign. Each donation, regardless of size, is crucial to helping develop citizens of character. Your support goes beyond just funding a program; it's about building a foundation for achievement, providing a chance at new opportunities, and enhancing the curriculum of life skills and community service.

Some of our summer projects include:

• Sanding and refinishing the LMHS gym floor
• Installing new bleachers in the LMHS gym
• Re-screening the gym floors at LMMS and LMES
• Re-screening and painting the LMHS Auditorium stage
• Maintenance on the LMPR retention pond
• Replacing the stairs on the baseball press box
• Replacing the roof on the LMHS ticket booths
• Roofing project at LMES
• Asphalt repairs, crack filling, sealing, and painting parking lots at LMES, LMPS, and the bus area at LMHS
• Waxing, cleaning, mulching, washing, and more

Despite significant student enrollment growth over the last ten years, LM has strategically stretched out the funds generated by the passage of the 2011 Emergency Levy for more than ten years. This funding represents one-fifth of LM’s total operating budget and is a vital piece of the district’s financial health. These funds were renewed in November 2020.

However, with continued enrollment growth and increased demand for student supports, a request for new funds will need to be made of the community in the near future.

LM understands the importance of voting and has opportunities for LMHS students to register at school. LMHS hosts registration opportunities during lunch throughout the year to register and utilizes time during Government class to assist eligible & interested students. The front office at LMHS has Voter Registration Forms available for members of the public who are interested.
