Hey Crusader Nation!
Delsea High School - April 2025
The past few weeks have brought joy to many people, from outstanding stage performances in The Wizard of Oz, a fun-filled night in Mr. Delsea, to our baseball and softball teams playing down south and the Senior Trip. These are just a few memorable moments that have made this time so special. It’s been incredible to see our students embrace these experiences and shine in so many ways.
March also brought a moment that deeply impacted our community. In difficult times, Delsea has always come together, and this was no exception. The strength, compassion, and support shown by our students, staff, and families were a true reflection of what it means to be part of this community. As we move forward, we remain here for our students and continue to keep the other family in our thoughts every day. If you recognize that your student is in need, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this month has been the consistent praise our students have received. Whether it’s a stranger in Disney complimenting our students, opposing teams complimenting ours for their sportsmanship, or a Delsea student stepping up to help someone in need at a school event, their actions speak volumes. These moments reflect the character, leadership, and heart that define our Delsea community.
As we gear up for Spring Break and the 4th marking period, we enter the final stretch of the school year—a time full of opportunities but also challenges. This is an important time to check in with students about their academic progress, attendance, and goals for finishing strong. OnCourse provides valuable updates, and our teachers, counselors, and administrators are always available to offer support.
Let’s continue to build on this momentum and make the rest of the school year one of growth, achievement, and success for all!
No Parking Spots
Getting a driver's license is an exciting milestone, and we love seeing our students gain this new level of independence! However, parking on campus is limited. Spaces are first offered to seniors, then juniors, and then made available as the year progresses if space allows. Unfortunately, we do not have any more spots available. We appreciate your understanding.
Late to homeroom vs. Late to school
Under the Stars
The Under the Stars Prom will take place on April 17th, promising a magical evening for our students! Pre-Prom festivities will begin at 4:30 PM at the high school, providing a great opportunity for families and friends to take photos before the celebration officially begins. We look forward to an unforgettable night!
Spring Credit Completion
The next session will take place from April 28th to May 1st, from 2:30 to 6:30 PM in the cafeteria.
Please remember:
If a student has between 12 and 18 unexcused absences, they will be required to attend summer school to recover credit.
If a student exceeds 18 unexcused absences, they will not be promoted to the next grade level.
If a student attending the Senior Trip has 12 or more unexcused absences by March 20th, they will not be allowed to attend the Senior Trip.
Encourage students to take advantage of Credit Completion opportunities to stay on track!
March Crusaders of the Month
The Wizard of Oz
Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz for an incredible production at Delsea Regional High School! The show was a huge success, culminating in a sold-out performance on Friday night—the first since COVID. The hard work and dedication of our students and staff truly shined on stage. We now look forward to the upcoming Cappies awards and celebrating all that our talented performers have accomplished.

Parent Portal Is Open
The OnCourse Parent Portal for the 2024 - 2025 annual student registration is now OPEN! Each year, parents/guardian of existing and newly enrolled Delsea High School students must update several annual registration requirements using the OnCourse Connect Parent Portal at https://www.oncourseconnect.com/login. Please note that parents and students will not be able to access their grade portal until they fill out the annual registration.
Students and Chromebooks
This year we are going to encourage students to check and use their Delsea email more regularly. WHY? Because every student has a Chromebook and teachers use Google Workspace tools for classroom efficiency! It’s an easy way for them to communicate with their teachers. It’s a great way for students to stay up to date with important announcements from teachers and the school. This can include information for clubs, sports, cancellations, reminder of events, and so much more.
Lockers
Lockers will be assigned upon request. Once your student has completed the Google Form, they will get their locker information emailed to them.
