PLE Bear Crawl Fun Run - REGISTER TODAY!
Pine Lane Elementary Families!
It’s that time! Our families can start sharing about and donating to our PLE Bear Crawl Fun Run - starting TODAY! Our goal is to raise $25,000 for classroom furniture. Are you ready to help our school?
Here are 3 things we can do to help support our school through this fundraiser:

- Give a donation if you are able to (all students will fully participate regardless of financial participation).

Visitors - Please let us know you will be joining us!
If you are planning on attending as a visitor please let us know you will be joining us. This will allow us to expedite the check in process. We use the Raptor Visitor Management system and all visitors need to have there Driver's License in our data base to attend any of our school events.
Please ensure you have your photo ID with you as you enter our schools.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our students and staff safe.
Note: If you have signed up to volunteer with us you will automatically be signed in and notified if we do not have you in our system.
Student's, Staff and Volunteers will all receive a Bear Crawl T-Shirt
T'shirts will be Kelly Green with the logo PLE Bear Crawl 2024! This will be a reminder for years to come and students can come together as one on our PLE Bear Day's on Friday's.

Our Schedule for the Day:
- 9:30 - 10:30: 2nd & 6th Grade
- 11:00 - 12:00: 1st Grade, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5 & 5/6 Discovery Classes & AM Pre K
- 1:00 - 2:00: Kindergarten, 4th Grade & PM PreK
- 2:30 - 3:30: 5th Grade & 3rd Grade
Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for 3 volunteers for each teacher to help.
- Volunteers will help mark laps, hand out water to students and assist with organized chaos!
- Volunteers will need to arrive 15 mins before the start of each run time.

In the event of Inclement Weather, the Bear Crawl - Fun Run will become a Glow Run Inside at the South Campus Gym.
This will be our Inside Schedule should that occur:
- 9:30 AM — 6th + 5/6 Discovery
10:15 AM — 1st & Pre K
11 AM — 2nd + 2/3 Discovery
12:15 PM — 5th + 4/5 Discovery
1:00 PM — Kindergarten & Pre K
1:45 PM — 4th + 3/4 Discovery
2:30 PM — 3rd
Lightning Dismissal
It is that time of year that storms start to roll in, during the afternoon. Please take a few moments and familiarize yourself with our polices in the event we need to shift our end of day dismissal.
End of Year Celebrations!
6th Grade
May 15th - Sierra Middle School Open House
Wednesday, May 15 from 6:00-7:00 pm is the Sierra Middle School incoming 7th grade open house for incoming seventh grade students and their families. Please plan to arrive with plenty of time to find parking and walk through the main entrance. We will be starting in the large gym together for some information and then you’ll have a chance to explore the school or even get targeted information from school, district and community supports.
If you haven’t had a chance to review our Preparing for Middle School information, make sure to look the information over with your incoming 7th grader. See you soon!
MAY 21st 6th Grade Continuation Ceremony
Where: Sierra Middle School
Time: 6:30 pm
- Students need to arrive by 6:00pm
- Doors will open at 6:20pm
Refreshments will be served immediately after.
May 22nd - Clap out & Sky Zone
- 11:15 all of our PLE Crew will line the Hallways as we "Clap Out" our 6th Grade Crew!
- 11:40 - Students will walk to Sky Zone for the end of the year celebration.
- Registration needs completed by Wednesday May 13th.
- Registration needs to be completed in 2 places My School Bucks as well as the Sky Zone Waiver. Use the links below

It's important you order your supplies before it's too late or supplies run out. Summer Camps
Hosted at PLE
Camp Invention is a summer camp that is held at Pine Lane Elementary. This year Sahvanna LLewellyn one of our 3rd grade teachers is hosting this event.
SMS - Transitioning to Middle School
It is finally here... Registration for Taking Flight, Sierra's summer transition program!
No matter how your student feels about transitioning to middle school, Taking Flight is designed to calm anxiety and increase excitement. Make sure they have the opportunity to:
Become familiar with Sierra so they don't have to worry about getting lost
Meet teachers
Make new friends
Get their schedule early and find classes
Learn important success strategies for middle school
Have fun!
All Taking Flight students will also receive a fun Sierra t-shirt. Sessions only last 3 hours per day for 3 days. Session 3 is now full but we still have openings in session 1 & 2. Click HERE to find a session that works for you. If you are having trouble, please try to register from a computer instead of your phone.
