Mission Statement
Josefa L. Sambrano Elementary School will go beyond excellence by providing a nurturing learning environment that provides a solid foundation and instills a desire to be lifelong learners both academically and socially. In all that we do and all that we teach, we will provide education at an exemplary level.

Vision Statement
Our students will be academically and socially developed citizens who are evolving in an innovative curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students and equips them to be positive and contributing members of society.

Tardy arrivals or early pick-ups may make a student ineligible for 'perfect attendance' recognition for that 9-week grading period, but can still qualify for 'faithful attendance' if they have no absences.

PARENTS, did you know we get less money from the state when our students are absent? Texas is one of the few states that funds its schools using average daily attendance. Please help us with our attendance rate by sending your child to school every day, all day. Thank you!

Sambrano Elementary students went on a fieldtrip to "La Nube" where they were offered a unique learning experience. They were able to create an avatar, interact with exhibits, and save their digital experiences to their very own website.

"La Nube" is a STEAM discovery center where our students were able to explore, play, create, and push the boundaries of innovation. Their imagination was pushed to soar like Eagles as high as the clouds.
