We are so proud of our Mustangs for their efforts throughout the first term. GREAT job!

Thank you for our staff and family partnerships for their hard work and dedication to giving our students your best to help them cross the finish line for this term.

It is hard to believe we finished ¼ of the year already – so fast! But we believe in our students and staff and are happy to see them succeeding in so many ways.

Here we go with a GREAT start to Term 2 and a little cool down in the weather.

Reverse minimum day on Monday, Oct. 14th

Staff will be participating in Professional Learning

Office and Phone lines open at 10:30am due to meetings

Gates open 11:05 for student lunch and be in first period class before 11:43 am

Trail Time is usually team building and explaining how teachers will use Trail Time or reviewing skills that will help students succeed in that course.

Gift of time….we know October can be a bit of a lift especially with term 1 ending and term 2 starting – SO we are canceling Governance meetings for Wed. Oct. 16th.

We will see everyone on Monday for the start of term 2!

Students may access their Term 2 schedule by logging in to StudentVUE -> Class Schedule tab -> “Quarter 2”

Students will not get a printout of their schedule and should report to their 1st period class on Monday, October 14, 2024. Classes begin at 11:43am on a Reverse Minimum Day.

All schedules are final at this point in the school year so you will not have access to a schedule change form. Students may request to meet with their Counselor a few ways:

• using the QR code on the doors of our building and in classrooms,
• completing a paper request found in the Student Services building
• and/or by stopping in before school, after school or during lunch.

The Marching, Symphonic and Jazz Bands all participated in the Franklin Invitational Band Review on Saturday. The marching band had a good first performance and the Symphonic and Jazz Bands both received 1st place in their divisions.

Our school will be administering the PSAT to all 10th grade students on October 30, 2024. Please read the letter sent in Synergy email for information regarding the PSAT, links to a study resource and practice PSAT questions.

Should you have questions regarding the PSAT, contact Mr. Zhen (academic counselor) or Ms. Perez (Vice principal).
