All 8th grade students at Grandview Middle School will participate in the Elkhorn Public Schools Fall Writing Assessment during the week of November 8th-12th. Teachers will use the results from the district assessment to determine each student's areas for growth in regards to the six traits of writing prior to the state assessment in the spring. Elkhorn consistently ranks toward the top in all areas of the state assessment, and we want that trend to continue. In order to ensure your kids have the most success, please make sure your child is getting plenty of rest and eating a good breakfast before they come to school.

On November 25, all district administrators will meet with the Board of Education from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. to discuss relevant topics to the district. The Board and administrators meet once in the fall and once in the spring each year.
