DATE OF EVENT: Wednesday, June 11th
HOURS: 10:30 – 5:00 PM
PURCHASE TICKETS: Tickets go on sale through the LCMS Webstore: Monday, April 28 – May 9
COST: $75 (pay online or with CASH only in front office) - includes entrance ticket, transportation to/from park, meal voucher with 1 drink.
*Please print out your web receipt, along with the completed permission slip to the front office BEFORE Friday, May 9th at 4:00 pm.
*SEASON PASS: If your student is a Six Flags season ticket holder (that includes Hurricane Harbor):
Cost is $20 (includes transportation fee to/from park) – MUST BE paid in the front office - CASH ONLY.
*Please make a copy of the season pass, along with the completed permission slip and include payment to the front office BEFORE Friday, May 9th at 4:00 pm.
All necessary items need to be turned in together. No partial paperwork will be accepted.
NO PAYMENTS/PERMISSION SLIPS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER May 9 at 4:00 PM.
IF A STUDENT LOSES THE PRIVILEGE OF ATTENDING AFTER MAY 11TH, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
PTSA Honorary Service Award Program
NOMINATIONS DUE BY MAY 1ST
The LCMS PTSA sponsors the Honorary Service Award Program to recognize ANY individuals who have made a significant contribution to the well-being of children and their community. Eight categories have been established as part of this program:
- Very Special Person Award (VSP) - May be given to an individual to recognize important service to children and youth.
- Honorary Service Award (HSA) - May be given to an individual or organization in the PTSA, school or community in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.
- Continuing Service Award (CSA) - May be given to an individual or organization in the PTSA, school or community for recognition of outstanding service to children and youth. This award may be given to a person whose contributions have been significant over a period of time. This award is usually given to someone who has already received an HSA.
- Outstanding Teacher Award (OTA) – May be given to recognize a teacher for outstanding service to children and youth in the school and/or community.
- Outstanding Administrator Award (OAA) – May be given to recognize an administrator for outstanding service to children and youth in the school and/or community.
- Golden Oak Service Award (GOSA) - This is the California State PTA’s most prestigious award. This award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in the school and/or community. This award should be given to recognize exceptional service to children and youth.
- Elected Official Honorary Service Award- This award may be given to recognize an elected official for outstanding policy work and/or legislation that positively impacts the lives of children. This award may be given at the local, state or federal level. This award is not to be used as an endorsement of any elected official, but to celebrate the work of the elected official.
- In Memoriam or Tribute Donations(awards issued when donations of $10 or more are made by PTAs or by individuals in tribute to a person, a group or in memoriam)
Nominations can be made by completing the Google form (link below) by Friday, May 1st:
If you or your student has someone who has made a positive impact for your family (student, you), I strongly encourage you to nominate this individual.

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Career Information Night for 7th and 8th grade students and their parents/guardians across all CVUSD middle schools! This event is designed to help students explore various career paths and gain valuable insights directly from industry professionals. Students will have the unique opportunity to hear about a day-in-the-life of these professionals, education and training required, and advice for seeking a career in each industry, which will help students plan for high school and beyond. Please see the attached flyer with the career industries represented and more information.
We encourage 7th and 8th grade students and their parents/guardians to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about different career options from industry professionals.
