Classrooms will be celebrating friendship February 14th. Teachers will send out information in the next few days on how the classrooms will celebrate.

Conference notes went home last week. Conferences are on February 10th and 11th. If you need a change or did not receive your time, please contact your child's teacher.

Registration opens Monday at 6 p.m. for the 3rd session of the Soaring Hawks After School Enrichment Clubs! Clubs are free and will be held February 17 to April 24.

A few reminders:

1. To register, go to https://dmps.revtrak.net/Community-Ed-Classes and click on Soaring Hawks After School Program.

2. Double-check the age/grade requirements for your desired club.

3. Make sure your student is available for all club dates. No changes can be made after registration closes.

4. Sign up for no more than 2 clubs.

5. **Important: Help your Hanawalt community by volunteering to provide rides home to other children. This helps make our clubs accessible to all students.

Need help with registration? An in-person registration session will be held tonight (January 30) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Deer Ridge Supportive Services Office, 6009 Creston Ave., Des Moines.

The current session of clubs will end February 7.

Mark your calendars for the third annual Hanawalt Party in the Park! Thursday, May 15, 4-6 pm, Frisbie Park. We will celebrate spring and all of the cultures that come together at our school with activities, food, and games. Families welcome!
