NEW - Every Wednesday is an early release day. ALL 1st - 6th grade students will be dismissed at 1:10pm. PM Kinders will follow the AM schedule and will be dismissed at 12:10.

I want to take a moment to share what I am thankful for this year. Everyday, I feel so grateful to be with amazing teachers and students. From having time to be in classrooms, out on the yard, and in the cafeteria - I am getting to know your students and see what they are accomplishing. For this, I am thankful.

I wish all of you a safe and peaceful holiday.

This Tuesday, students will be participating in the Great Gratitude Walk. Students will have time to reflect and demonstrate what they are thankful for by participating in this walk. It will be a great way to begin our break.

NOTE: The walk will be cancelled if it is raining.

When we return from Thanksgiving, students will be able to purchase Wintergrams for their friends. These will be sold at recess and each Wintergram costs .50¢.

The Safety Committee will meet in Decemeber to debrief the Safety presentation during the teacher staff meeting. Topics include over all campus preparedness, evacuations, and intruders on campus. This is one way our school works to keep all students and staff prepared and ready to respond in the case of an emergency.

The district is conducting a survey to improve and strengthen communications efforts.

You can now view your child’s immunizations online through the AERIES portal. The items in red show the shots that are missing.

Last Monday, I attended the DAC meeting. It was an informative presentation on how our school receives funding. I strongly encourage you to attend in February to learn more and to have a voice in your child's education.

Trying something NEW! Our next meeting will be held in person and virtually. We hope that this option will make attending our meetings more accessible. We will discuss the upcoming Art Night, Winter Concert, and the Reindeer Run.

The meeting will be on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 3:00. Be on the look out for the link to log in.

ELAC Meeting will be Nov. 19 at 10:00. This meeting is open to all parents especially important to our families who speak more than one language.

Our next meeting will be in November 19 @ 3:00.
