Just a few more days until school begins! We're very excited to welcome our 6th graders for a half day on Wednesday, August 14th (11:12 dismissal), and all grades back on Thursday the 15th. Our Wolf Wire this week looks similar to last week, but there is additional information regarding new procedures this year, so please take some time to review. Hope everyone enjoys their last few days of summer break!

New to the district 7th & 8th graders are invited to a small-setting orientation Wednesday, August 14th from 1:30-2:30 p.m. This will be a time for them to tour the building, pick up their MacBooks, and review general school information.

24-25 School Supplies Lists

We understand a new system of this nature can create concerns, but hope those concerns are alleviated by the fact we only use a visitor’s identification to search information already available to the public, and that nearly every peer school district in the county is using a similar system. Knowing who is in our buildings, and where they are, with a more comprehensive visitor management system strengthens our efforts to better secure our facilities.

We will be utilizing a modified student sign in/out process to help protect the privacy of our students and families. Please continue to ring the doorbell at the main office and indicate your student's name and that you are signing them out, etc. Upon entry to the main office, you will scan a QR code with your phone to fill out our student sign in/out form, and we will call your student from class. The same process will be used for signing in students (you are not required to walk your student back into the building unless you would like to do so). Thank you for being patient as we implement this new procedure!

Thank you to everyone who has turned in their physicals in the last week! KSHSAA Physicals for fall sports are due ASAP and must be turned in prior to the start of practices. Please ensure you complete all signatures and submit all five (5) required pages. Please remind your students to sign in to their student Skyward account and complete the Student Athlete Registration, which also must be completed before they are cleared for sports. Please refer to the email of July 30th for more complete information.

Football, Cross Country, and Volleyball will kick off with the start of school! Please check out our Fall Athletics pages for important information and practice/game calendars. Any further questions should be directed to the appropriate coaching staff. Go Wolves!

Did you know that MTMS is a certifying organization for the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award! All you need is a minimum of 50 hours per year to qualify for the first, bronze level! Immunization Requirements

Attention parents of incoming 7th grade students! The Tdap vaccine (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) and the Meningococcal vaccine dose 1 are required for 7th grade students. Proof of required vaccinations is due the 2nd Monday in October, 10/14/2024.
