Homecoming Week Fun!
Principal's Corner
Last week was an AMAZING week in Sparta Nation! Each day there were plenty of ways for students to connect and make memorable experiences. It is my hope that core memories were created and that each member of our community will say that something they did during homecoming was a memory that they will hold on to forever. For me--- watching each of the floats full of cheering students with gigantic smiles will be something that I will hold on to each day as apart of my "why".
Be sure to check out alllllllll of our social media platforms to see some of our favorite photos from the week! I want to give a special shout out to everyone that made Homecoming so special. We are already planning for next year--- and so if you want to be apart of that process, feel free to let me know!

Class Specific Information
Free College Application Week is happening this week! Ms. Garcia will be available during Sparta Time in the media center and after school from 2:15–4 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the student services conference room.
One of the critical skills students will need in college or the workforce is effective communication, often via email. I communicate with students via email to help them develop this important habit. Please make sure they check their email regularly. If they are still waiting to receive the senior emails, please contact Ms. Garcia.
Would you like your student to be considered for a full-ride? Are they interested in Davidson, NC State, NC A&T, NCCU, and Gardner-Webb? Check out this spreadsheet for additional information about these opportunities. To be considered for our school nominations, they must complete this form by October 25.
Counselors are meeting with all seniors during the month of October for your individual senior conference. Please check your school email for your appointment date and time! We can’t wait to meet with you!
