Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Spring Break. We are in the last quarter of the year! It's time to focus on raising your grades and passing all of your classes.
Seniors are getting ready for Prom on April 19th. It's an exciting time of year with many senior activities leading up to graduation. Let's have a great time!

If your student is absent due to a medical reason or appointment, please email a screenshot or scan of the doctor’s note with the above information to David.delrio@sweetwaterschools.org . Emails will only be accepted to excuse absences if they are sent from a parent or guardian’s email address on file in infinite campus.

Scholarship of the Week!!!
SWC Scholarships are awarded for excellence in academics, extra-curricular activity, and service to the community. Scholarship recipients are able to continue their academic studies at a trade school, community college, 4-year college, or university of their choice.
Graduating high school seniors in the public high schools of the Sweetwater Union High School District may obtain a 2024 SWC Scholarship Application as follows:
• Available February/March 2024 - Download Application Form and Instructions using the link below
• Deadline for submission is April 12, 2024.
• The 2024 Application and Instructions will be available February/March 2024.
Scholarship of the Week for JROTC Seniors
To qualify for the $2,000.00 scholarship, you must be at least a senior in high school with a college acceptance letter, or be an existing student, of any age, who will be enrolled in the fall semester of an accredited school. This could be a four-year university, a community college, or a trade school.
You must be enrolled in JROTC at your high school or current school.
The essays will be judged by an unbiased panel of three members of the Chapter, using written criteria. Anti-plagiarism apps will be used as necessary.
In the event of a tie, the Scholarship Chair will appoint a member to review the entries and select the winner.
Scholarship of the Week: Phil and Alice Crease
The Phil and Alice Creaser Education Foundation of the Sweetwater Union High School District is an outstanding student achievement award. For more information please see the attached application. If you need a hard copy, please see Mrs.Torres-Mathews in the Counseling center.
