We wanted to introduce a member of our team, Finley. Finley is an emotional support animal that is in our Student Services Office on Wednesdays.

Emotional support animals are shown to help reduce anxiety and stress, increase focus and concentration by providing a grounding effect, provide emotional support and companionship, improve social interactions and empathy, enhance coping skills and resilience, help stabilize students moods, and even lead to improved physiological benefits like reduced blood pressure or lower heart rates.

With all that being said, we understand students may have allergies, asthma, fears, or other medical conditions that would inhibit them from interacting with Finley. If that is the case, please reach out to your student's school counselor with those concerns. We will make the needed accommodations.

We had a full bus for our trip to Lakeland University on October 17th! Students met will colleges throughout the midwest (and beyond!) and toured Lakeland University. It was a beautiful fall day, and a great day to think about the future! We will continue to offer field trips throughout the year. Keep an eye on your emails!
