November 2024
Windsor Families,
It was a great week at Windsor! I hope you had a fun Halloween! Thank you to all of the room reps and day of volunteers that made our student's Halloween parties a success!
Just a reminder that there is no school for students on Monday or Tuesday next week. We will see parents on Monday for parent-teacher conferences.
Spirit wear was delivered today, please check your child's backpack if you ordered spirit wear.
The All-Stars Special Olympics Team is selling spirit wear. Please use this link to place an order. $2.00 from the sale of each item will go to the All-Stars Team!

A few reminders for arrival.
Please do not park on the east side of Windsor Drive and attempt to cross Windsor to bring your child to school. Everyone who lives east of Windsor needs to utilize the drop and go line on the west side of Windsor Drive for safety purposes.
Walkers
Please wait for our crossing guard to cross you. She is directing traffic as she crosses students, it could create a dangerous situation if you cross while she is directing traffic to go.
Thank you for your partnership with this.
Have a wonderful wildcat weekend!

Lions club donation box
Hello Windsor Families!
We are collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids, cell phones and key fabs for the Lions Club. The Lions club gives our district so much support to our school by providing eye exams and glasses to families who need them in our district. Let's return the support by recycling the things we don't use anymore and donate them to the Lions club. The collection box is in the Windsor Front door vestibule and will remain there until the Winter Holiday break.
Thank you!

REPEAT INFORMATION
Family Survey
We love to celebrate all of the wonderful cultures and languages at Windsor. Please provide us with information about your family's culture so that we can celebrate YOU! This information will be shared in your child's classroom and we will also mark on the world map in our Commons where all of our Windsor families are from.
Feel free to complete this optional survey:
Notes from the Nurse
Elementary school is a time of spills and accidents. Please help the health office by packing a spare change of clothes in your students backpack in a gallon size ziplock bag. This should include:
Pants
Socks
Underwear
Shirt
This also helps your student since they feel most comfortable in their own clothes. As the school year progresses please make sure their clothes still fit and are weather appropriate. If you have any concerns or questions please reach out!
Thank you,
Darlene Carpenter

PTA and ABC25 Foundation
We hope that you will become a member of our very active PTA. We are extremely proud of the partnership that we have with the PTA and are so appreciative of all the work they do for Windsor School. The ABC/25 Foundation (http://abc25foundation.com/) is another way to become involved. The Foundation supports the schools within the district with both large and small grants each school year. Windsor will receive a membership grant of $2,500 if we have 25 families join the foundation.
