It's been business as usual in our penultimate week of this half term and a great way to finish off the week with today's Break the Rules event. The children really enjoyed it.

In school, the Valentine's Disco was a blast. Thank you to everyone who came along and to the PFA and staff who supported the event. I also met with TransPennine Trains and have arranged some Electrical Dangers Assemblies for our Year 5 and 6 children in the coming weeks. TransPennine will also be joining us for some exciting Science lessons, linked to the railways, in coming weeks.

Miss Binns & Mrs Horsfield are going to run an outdoor hockey club next half term starting Tuesday 25th February until 1st April for KS2 children who have not done a sports club this school year. This will go live on ParentPay on Tuesday 11th February (will advise by text when live) and is limited to 30 children. It will finish at 4:15 and children will be taken to the top gate for collection. Please advise who is collecting or if going to Buddies or walking home alone (Y5/6 only & if already have permission).

Also Mr Scaling is running another Reception Lunchtime Multi-skills Club for Reception children who did not attend this half term. This will run for 6 weeks from 25th Feb to 1st April will also be live on ParentPay on Tuesday 11th Feb. If there are spaces left by Friday 14th we will open up to those that already attended this half term.

Buddies before and after school club are looking for someone to join our team. We have hours available Monday to Thursday 07.30-9am and 3 - 6pm. We may be able to offer these hours as a job share.
