Since 2021, educators across southwestern Pennsylvania have bene taking small steps and giant leaps toward their preferred future for learning with the help of a Moonshot Grant from Remake Learning.

The next round of Moonshot funding launches today. Here are 3 things you need to know to make your Moonshot:

1. You can apply for up to $70,000

This is a grant opportunity intended to help you test out a bold idea for the future of learning.

2. All applicants are required to attend an information session

Information sessions will take place on June 1st, August 1st, and September 1st. RSVP for one today.

3. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2023

But don’t delay in getting your application started. Give yourself time to develop your idea, recruit partners, and attend an info session.

Local Assessment Data Upload!

Your PIMS Administrator can upload local assessment data into PVAAS. Prior to 2020, PDE received feedback that local assessment data would be useful for diagnostic measures. This feature became available when state assessments were paused due to COVID. Now, we have the ability to capture ALL assessments! Roster verification is a process used to provide PVAAS teacher-specific reporting based on accurate data. This process is for teachers and administrators to document and verify that each student is linked accurately to one or more teachers – for the correct state assessment(s) and the appropriate proportion of instructional responsibility.

Articulation Agreements: If you upload your dual enrollment articulation agreements into CATS, you do not need to upload it anywhere else. If you do not upload into CATS, you upload into FRCPP.
