Important Information From SISD

Sunnyvale Family,

You may have heard that several school districts around the state have received threats via social media or e-mails suggesting that their school district appears on a list of school districts targeted. At this time, Sunnyvale ISD is not one of the districts on the list or receiving threats via social media or email. However, we are well aware of this situation and are monitoring our campuses closely.

The Texas Education Agency’s Chief of Safety and Security notified all Texas superintendents that TEA is working closely with the Texas Department of Safety to vigorously investigate this matter.

Sunnyvale ISD continues to be in close communication with local law enforcement to continue monitoring this situation and will notify you immediately if necessary.
