Appleton Echo
Autumn Term 2 Week 2
A word from Mr Broom
I'd like to start by thanking everyone for coming along to the family consultations earlier this week. It was great to hear so many positive conversations and to hear about how happy our children really are at school. I also think it's really important to thank the teachers who wanted to continue with face-to-face meetings, rather than going virtual (video) like many other schools have done.
It has been business as usual in our classrooms. Right across school, we've seen focussed children who are very knowledgeable about their learning and able to talk to adults at length and with a rich vocabulary.
Finally, I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience of our Air Source Heat Pump installation, which is taking a little longer than expected. Hopefully, they'll be finished soon and our routines can return to normal.
Have a super weekend everyone!

We are a 'Nut Free' School
A polite reminder that we have children in school who have severe nut allergies. Please ensure that you do not bring nuts on to the school site or include them in packed lunches.
Thank you for your support with this.
