Happy New Year! I would like to extend best wishes to all for a happy and healthy new year. It’s a pleasure to see all of the children, teachers, and staff back at school after a long, well deserved break.

As we look ahead to the rest of the school year, we are unwavering in our focus to deliver the highest-quality education possible to each of your children. We do this to prepare them for a successful, productive life, empowered with the skills they need to chase their dreams.

Encourage your child to set high academic achievement goals as we enter the second semester. Also, please continue to support your child’s teachers and maintain open lines of communication between home and school.

As always, thank you for your continued support. Together we can help shape our children’s academic and social growth and development. We must never underestimate the power a home-school connection elicits. There are many exciting learning opportunities ahead, and we look forward to a successful and productive 2025.

As you enjoy the holiday season with your family and friends, please consider finding opportunities to get out and move! Walking and enjoying the Christmas lights is a great idea! Every step counts towards good health and builds great memories! Have a wonderful holiday everyone!

Please keep your child home if they have a fever the night before school or in the morning . This is the best way that we can help prevent the spread of illness!

Please remember to pack a change of clothing, including underwear, no matter what grade! Accidents and incidents do occur no matter the age and if there is no clothing packed, I will have to call and ask you to come bring your child some clothing in order to continue at school. This not only creates a preventable inconvenience for you but also impacts your childs academic progress because they end up missing class for an extended period of time waiting for clothing.

Please revisit the district policy changes regarding medications. I understand that some of the changes have been frustrating and that there are some key differences from last year, but I am bound to district policy which tends to follow Texas BRN guidelines,
