Final Week!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the holiday season, we want to share some important updates and invite you to join us for upcoming events:

Basketball Game: Join us on Tuesday, December 17th, starting at 4:00 PM for the Dexter vs. Hagerman basketball game. Hagerman Elementary students and several Dexter students who attended the cheer camp will be performing during the varsity halftime game.
Elementary Christmas Program: Don’t miss the Christmas Program on Thursday at 6:00pm presented by the elementary students
Early Dismissal: All students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20th.

This week will be filled with exciting activities, but please remember that attendance remains a priority. We need all students present every day to ensure a strong finish to the semester.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7th.

Meet our New Reading Interventionist

It is with great excitement that we introduce Mrs. Kim Cates as the new Reading Interventionist for Hagerman Elementary and Middle School. Mrs. Cates joins our team with a strong commitment to supporting our students in developing the reading strategies they need to succeed.

In her role, Mrs. Cates will provide targeted reading interventions and strategies designed to strengthen literacy skills across grade levels. We are confident that her expertise will have a significant and positive impact on our students’ academic growth and success.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Cates to the Hagerman family. Together, we look forward to the tremendous progress our students will achieve with her guidance and dedication.

Folk Art!!!

Students learn best practices when using acrylic paint and how 3D painting is different from 2D painting.

Folk Houses

Apple Faces High School Art

Students used a salt and vinegar solution to extract the water from carved apple faces. Students will continue to use sodium and vinegar in art projects for the rest of the year. This is practical application of chemical properties. Students review how to make an armature and learn about the properties and uses of sodium.
