Frog Pond Elementary
Volume 2 24 -25
Hello Frog Pond Families!
November is the perfect time of year to get outside and enjoy the chilly air and falling leaves. It’s a time when we vote, celebrate our Veterans and give thanks. Remember, school is closed the week of November 4th through November 8th.
Fall parent/teacher conferences are right around the corner. These days are ½ day student dismissal on November 19th (afternoon), 20th (evening), and the 21st ( evening). This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their academic progress, ask questions or address concerns. I encourage every parent to attend if possible.
In closing, I would like to take this time to wish all of you a happy, healthy Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends.
Sincerely,
Thomas P. Denning

Learning about Terrapins
As you may already know, we have several terrapin turtle hatchlings we are raising in the classroom as part of the Great Bay Terrapin Project… Actually, we have 14 to be precise. They will grow larger and stronger over the year and be released into the wild in the spring. Here are a couple of photos of just a few of our aquatic friends.

Parkertown Fire Dept Visits Frog Pond
The Parkertown Fire Department recently visited Frog Pond to educate students about fire safety. During the engaging session, firefighters demonstrated essential safety tips, such as the importance of smoke alarms, how to create an escape plan, and what to do in case of a fire. This initiative aims to empower young learners with knowledge that could help save lives in the event of a fire.
Later that evening Parkertown Fire Dept. hosted our students and their families for a night of food, awards, demonstrations, and rides in the fire truck. Students had a great time! Thank you Parkertown Fire Dept!

Thank You
Thank you to our maintenance staff for giving our school a fresh new look! We love our new window signs and the fresh paint representing our school colors out front.
We are also excited about the new picnic tables which provide a wonderful space for students and staff to enjoy the outdoors on beautiful days. These improvements enhance our school environment and create a more enjoyable place for everyone.
Thank you Mrs. Truex's Class
Mrs. Truex's class recently transformed one of the bulletin boards in our school, and the results were amazing!
Thank you!
