-Term 1 interims will be emailed home on Oct. 1, 2024.
-The end of Term 1 is on November 7, 2024. In a year-long class - this means there are only approximately 12 instructional days left.
-Grading on an A/B schedule is a bit different that a block schedule.
Students in year-long classes that meet every other day (for example only on A days) have approximately 21 days of instruction per term for four terms. Previously on a block schedule students had 45 days in a term but only had the class for two terms. This change requires a mind shift.
*You should focus on turning assignments on time, retesting when necessary and staying focused in your classes. Time will go by quickly! There is no time to procrastinate.
*You should stay in contact with your teachers even when you do not have them for class through email, check ins, etc. especially when you are absent, out for a out for illness, sports or other programs.
*PowerSchool is the key to your success! Monitor it daily for missing assignments, when to retest an exam and to track your absences!
*Parent conference day is on Monday, Oct. 7th from 8:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Use this day to come in and have one-one one conversations with your teachers. We are here for you!
