Senior 1:1 Meetings
10/1-10/8: Counselors will be meeting with every senior during these one-on-one meetings. Students will have the opportunity to not only meet their counselors, but discuss what's next as they work through their final year at CHS.
AP Readiness Workshop
AP Readiness is virtual this month!

Focus Area: College & Career
How to Launch - CSU Applications
10/3: Counselors will be assisting seniors who are ready to begin their CSU applications. This workshop is by sign up only. A Google Form link can be found in the student's Canvas, in the Puma Pride tile under Announcements.
Junior Calendar Presentations
10/15: Counselors will be visiting the English 11 classes to present information that every junior needs to know as they prepare for senior year and begin post-grad planning. Students who do not have an English course on campus will be invited to attend a presentation during a period of their choice.
HOBY Leadership Info Meeting
10/14: The Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership conference is coming Summer 2025. Sophomores will have the chance to hear from past CHS HOBY ambassadors about an exciting opportunity to attend the conference free of charge. Application required.
College & Career Kick Off
10/22: Students participate in a variety of college and career readiness activities. Click here to view the CCKO newsletter and read more about our event.
Post-Secondary Options Presentations
10/24: Counselors will be visiting the English 10 classes to present information to the sophomores about post-grad planning and the many options available to them.
SAT Tutoring from Schoolhouse
Registration is officially open the free, virtual SAT Bootcamps and College Admissions workshops for October.
In addition to our SAT prep and college app programs, they also offer academic, subject-specific tutoring for math, science, and other classes. Click here to learn more about their tutoring offerings.
