Scholarship Reminders for Seniors:
The deadline for Senior students to apply through Mukwonago’s Local Scholarship application is quickly approaching - it will close on Friday, February 21st, 2025 at 3:15PM. By filling out one application, your child is eligible to access over 30 different scholarship opportunities from the Mukwonago Community. This is a wonderful opportunity for any senior planning to pursue continued education after High School. Please talk with your Senior and encourage them to apply!
Additionally, there are many wonderful outside scholarship opportunities posted to the MHS Scholarship Website. Please encourage your Senior to review this site for new opportunities on a regular basis!

Weighted Grades at MHS
Grades for the 1st semester have been posted. This marks the first time weighted grades have been applied to our freshmen and sophomore classes. We are using a 4.5 scale for weighted grades, meaning:
- An A+, A, or A- in an AP class is calculated as a 4.5 instead of a 4.0.
- A B+, B, or B- in an AP class is calculated as a 3.5 instead of a 3.0.
- A C+, C, or C- in an AP class is calculated as a 2.5 instead of a 2.0 and so on.
All AP classes, Spanish V and Multivariable Calculus are weighted.
If you have questions, please reach out to your child's counselor.
ACT Corner
Record Number of Students Practicing - This year, MHS has over 150 junior students taking ACT prep courses either during or outside the school day. One of the greatest strengths of the course is the opportunity to take full length practice tests via paper and pencil. With the move to digital statewide testing last year, students can also benefit from a free full-length digital testing experience next Saturday, February 15 at MHS. Registration is still open by clicking on the following form.
