Dear Bateman Families & Friends
We had an incredible turn out on Report Card Pick Up day! It was so nice to see parents and teachers discussing student progress, celebrating their accomplishments, and setting goals for the remainder of the school year. We certainly value the partnership and investment in each child's education!
We are certain of continued success in Quarter 2! Students are all diving in to their Quarter 2 units and are eager to continue making progress towards their academic goals.
Since the time change has allowed us an additional hour of sleep, we should be well-rested and ready to come to school on time everyday. Please remember that classes begin at 8:00am and all students need to be ready for instruction. It is important for all families to plan ahead and make an effort to allow children time to transition to their classrooms. Doors open at 7:50am. We look forward to seeing all of our students on time and ready to learn!

7th Grade Springfield Trip Virtual Parent Meeting
It's back! 7th Grade parents and caretakers are invited to join virtually on Wednesday, November 13th at 5pm to learn about the Springfield Trip!
Get Your Head in the Game!
Tickets can be reserved through the Boosters website (every show has it's own link) and are donation-based, with a suggested donation of $5/ticket - all donations will go towards this year and next year's musical performance.
Please email friendsofbateman@gmail.com if this donation is a hardship for you.
If you would like to guarantee a seat in the first two rows you can purchase through the same link. These seats can be reserved for $25/seat (only 56 are available per performance).
Concessions will be available for purchase at the shows during intermission - all proceeds go towards funding the 8th graders class trip!
2024-2025 Volunteering
We have amazing Parent Organizations and we strongly encourage parent volunteering for all grade levels! Parent engagement helps Bateman maintain a positive experience and fosters the strong community feel throughout the year! Consider engaging with our Local School Council, Bateman Boosters, Bilingual Advisory Committee (BAC), Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), and Bateman Fathers' Club (BFC)! Each organization plays a vital role in the success and strength of our school - consider becoming involved and sign up at the Back to School Bash!
Volunteer sign up will be on going throughout the year. If you plan to chaperone on a field trip, please sign up now to make sure you have been approved!
Local School Council
Bateman LSC
The Bateman Local School Council (LSC) supports our school by making decisions that affect our children, their education, and the environment of the school. The primary responsibilities of the LSC include the following:
- to select the school’s principal & renew the principal’s contract,
- approve the Continuous Improvement Work Plan (Bateman CIWP)
- approve the school’s budget for the school year.
Monthly meetings will take place in the Bateman Library on a rotating morning and afternoon schedule. Morning meetings will be at 8:15am and after school meetings will take place at 3:30pm.
Bilingual Advisory Committee
